For installation of Superpave 9.5 mm wearing course material on Hilltop Road (approximately 500 TN). The successful bidder is required to pay fees established by PennBid equal to 1/3% of the awarded bid total. Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via PennBid) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; and Anti-Collusion Affidavit. Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor for all bid items and shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program). Copy of prequalification must be included with all bids. All information must be submitted via the PennBid Program. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance and Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications. Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be based on the Total Base Bid and will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
