As of 07/12/2021 this project has been awarded to Hohenbrink Excavating, LLC in the amount of $447,032.84. Sealed Bids for the Furnishing of the Necessary Materials and Construction of the Village of Ottawa's Lincoln, Jackson & Buckeye Street Reconstruction The proposed work consists of curbed roadway reconstruction including approximately 2631CY of Excavation, 972 CY of Aggregate Base, 648 CY Asphalt Concrete, 1,680 SF of Concrete Sidewalk, 2,580 LF of Curb and Gutter, 920 LF of Sanitary Sewer, Manholes and Catch Basins. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bids will only be accepted from the Bidders listed on the Engineer's Official list of plan holders. Bids must be submitted on the unbound Bid Forms contained in the Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code or Bid Security furnished in Bid Bond Form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. This project is partially funded by the OPWC Infrastructure Grant & Loan Program. Attention must be given to all requirements contained in the bid packet, prevailing wage rates, various insurance requirements and the requirement for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Putnam County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. The Village of Ottawa reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the work.
