The owner states that this project is anticipated to bid in late 2023 and construction is anticipated to begin in late 2023 or early 2024. City of Hoquiam West Segment of the North Shore Levee City of Hoquiam Request for Qualification Data to Furnish Consulting Services Engineering/Permitting/Architectural Services: The City of Hoquiam is requesting qualified firms to submit statements of qualification for the West Segment of the North Shore Levee Project. The scope of professional services needed include full design, right of way, permitting, preparation of bid documents, project management, grant management, grant compliance, SEPA/ NEPA, historical review/Section 106, and all other project management services needed to deliver this project on-time and on budget. Funding is expected from a combination of state, local and federal sources. Qualified firms must have completed a minimum of five flood levee protection projects, including levees and flood walls within the last five years. Two of the five projects must exceed 2 miles in length. Firms must also have delivered a minimum of 20 flood risk reduction projects with a combined total construction value of $100M or more within the last 10 years. Additional consideration will be given to projects with pump stations and within tidally influenced water bodies and/or are located in heavily urban areas. One or more firms may be selected for an interview based upon the following criteria categories, weighted as indicated: Qualification of key personnel (25); Relevant company experience as demonstrated on previous projects (combination of floodwalls, pump stations and levees) (25); Previous performance may include submission of USACE CPAR ratings on relevant projects if available (25); Expressed interest in the project (20); Washington State Certified Women and Minority Enterprise Participation (5). most highly rated firm will be selected for negotiations on a professional service contract.
