As of 5/20/22 All bids received came in over budget and project will not be awarded. There are no plans to rebid this project. The Project will consist of demolition and removal of existing monument signs and replacing them with a new sign. The Owner will consider the bids received for the furnishing of said labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the proper construction of the aforesaid project. No questions will be accepted after 3:00 PM on May 3, 2022. Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC)reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities as it determines to be in the best interest of Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC) Bid Security, consisting of a Bid Bond, certified check,or cashier's check on a solvent bank, shall be enclosed with each bid in the amount of at least 5% of the Base Bid.Bid Security shall be made payable, without condition to the Blue Valley RecreationCommission as a guarantee that the bidder if awarded the contract, will promptly execute the formal contract in accordance with the Bid and Contract Documents and that he will furnish the specified bonds for the faithful performance of the same. Bid Securities of the three (3) lowest bidders will be retained until the contract is awarded or other disposition is made thereof. Bid Security of all other bidders will be returned promptly after the canvas of bids. No oral telegraphic, telephonic proposals or alternations will be considered. Facsimile transmissions will not be accepted. Any bid received after the deadline date and time will be returned unopened. The BVRC will be prudent in accounting for bids received but shall not be held responsible for inadvertent loss of any vendor's submitted bid. The Blue Valley Recreation Commission reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgment,isthelowestandbestbidonandfortheworkcoveredbythebid,toawardthe work or to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bidsubmitted Cost Estimate: $35,000 - $40,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
