The City of Johnson City is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to design, furnish and install playground equipment at Cherokee Elementary School, 2100 Cherokee Road, Johnson City, TN, 37604. Playground to serve ages 5-12. The City will be responsible for site preparation, including the removal of the existing equipment and surfacing. Scope of Work In general, the scope of services shall consist of providing: a. Design services: play equipment b. Provide and install all equipment and materials as necessary as illustrated on site plan and layout diagram with space dimensions shown. All work shall be done in accordance with the latest building codes, state and federal laws relative to Playground equipment installation including the Americans with Disabilities Act and in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Vendor to state best project completion date possible. The City prefers that equipment be installed within forty-five (45) calendar days of the purchase order issuance date. This will be a consideration in the award. The City reserves the following rights and options: Reject any or all proposals for any reason, at its sole discretion.
