The Work consists of but is not limited to the following: 1. Provide and install individual control valves for each perimeter classroom, conference room, and south perimeter offices. Modify control sequence as required to incorporate control valves for space temperature control in heating mode. 2. Provide and install ceiling mounted occupancy sensors for all areas served by fan coil units. Occupancy sensors to be wired directly to BMS and replace non-functioning BACNet link with lighting controller. Modify sequence as required. 3. Calibrate all CO2 sensors and adjust minimum airflow rates for each zone. Modify control sequence as required. 4. Modify office group control sequences to include baseboard control, based on average space temperature with minimum and maximum limits. 5. Correct VAV graphics for all VAV serving fan coil units total. 6. Modify cool down and heat up control sequence. 7. Modify global fin tube sequence. Bid security in the form of bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submitted with the bid. G.Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder Bids that are physically delivered shall be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope marked Harper College Project #2047 Building D Rotunda Baseboard Heat Project Q01045 and addressed to: Harper College, Purchasing Department, located in A-Building, Room A217, 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine, Illinois 60067. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety days after the submission without the consent of the Board of Trustees. J.Any bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, fax transmission, e-mail, or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder. K.Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College. L.All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. M.Contractors shall pay not less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). N.Bidders shall comply with the Business Enterprise Program: Participation and Utilization Plan developed by Harper College. There is a 20 percent aspirational goal on the Contract. Final Completion: December 31, 2021 Commencement of Work on site: September 7, 2021
