Renovation of a municipal facility in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, licenses and permits, etc. necessary to remove existing electric steam boiler and all related parts and materials. Furnish and install a new natural gas boiler equivalent in specifications of existing boiler. 1. All work shall be performed to minimize disruption to the facility operations. Normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Prior approval by the DJS Supervisor must be obtained to perform work outside of those hours. The Contractor's employees will not be permitted on the job site during nonworking hours. The Contractor shall maintain accessibility for vehicular traffic to the facility throughout the duration of the project. 2. The Contractor shall provide and install barricades, signs, etc. necessary to ensure public safety at all areas during construction operations as approved by the state representative. 3. Throughout the entire project, the Contractor shall maintain the work site in a safe, neat and orderly manner. The Contractor shall take steps to prevent accumulation of debris at the site and shall remove all spoils and unused material from the site. Disposal of all materials shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, codes and regulations. MBE Participation Goal: 0% VSBE Participation Goal 0%
