Site work and paving for a civil project in Luke, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performance of work for the replacement of the existing sewer lines in the Mullen Avenue area within the Town of Luke as identified within the construction plans and technical specifications prepared by RK&K, LLP. Major items include 2,260 LF of SDR 35 PVC Sewer Line; 17 EA Manholes; 23 EA Lateral Service Connection; 2 EA Connect to Existing System; 380 CY of Aggregate for Backfill; 45 TN of Asphalt Paving; 4 EA Cement Bentonite Trench Plugs; 100 LF of 6 Perforated Underdrain and all other appurtenances and incidentals to complete the work. The plans and specifications are intended to cover a complete project and it shall be thoroughly understood that a failure to mention specifically any work which would naturally be required to complete the project shall not relieve the Contractor of his responsibility to perform the work. A Davis-Bacon wage has been determined and will apply on this project. Current Wage Rate Decisions will be provided by addendum prior to bid opening date. The Town of Luke reserves the right to waive any informality in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. questions need to be submitted in writing by 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 9, 2021
