Renovation of a water / sewer project in Greenville, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This project consists of the Work ("Work"): Travelers Rest North Regional Pump Station will include the installation of one (1) duplex pumping system (future triplex pumping system), a wet well, valve building, electrical building, retaining wall, access drive, water service, stormwater structures and piping, and associated appurtenances west of North U.S. Highway 25 in Travelers Rest. Work will include the abandonment of the existing Tubbs Mountain #1 and #2 pump stations and the redirection of flow from the Tubbs Mountain Pump Stations to the Travelers Rest North Pump Station. New approximately 1,625 linear feet of 15-inch gravity sewer, approximately 570 linear feet of 16-inch gravity sewer, approximately 1,350 linear feet of 18-inch gravity sewer, approximately 4,665 linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer and approximately 5,095 linear feet of 14-inch force main will be installed. Electrical work will include but is not limited to new electrical service to the site and the installation of the pump control panel, variable frequency drive starters, and back-up power generation system. Work and components to be installed at the Travelers Rest North Pump Station will include but are not limited to the following: 1. Two (2) non-clog submersible wastewater pumps shall be provided for the Travelers Rest North Pump Station with hydraulic characteristics as described in the Contract Documents. One (1) additional pump to be provided and delivered to ReWa to serve as a spare. 2. Pump Control Panel, variable frequency drive starters and level control system compatible with pumps and provided by same distributor as pumps. 3. Installation of a new cast-in-place concrete wet well structure to elevation and dimensions as illustrated on the Construction Plans. 4. Epoxy lining of wet well as indicated by the plans. 5. Installation of pre-fabricated fiberglass valve building and pre-fabricated fiberglass electrical building. 6. Installation of access hatches and safety grating on the new wet well. 7. Wet well associated piping and valving. 8. Installation of flow and pressure monitoring devices. 9. Connection of all components to proposed Mission SCADA Communications monitoring equipment. 10. Electrical installation including electrical connection, service, back--up power generation system and all necessary components to construct a fully operational conveyance system. 11. Site preparation including site grading, retaining structures, drainage structures and stabilization. 12. Construction of asphalt entrance drive, concrete turn around area, and placement of stone in all disturbed areas. 13. All additional work included on the Construction Plans and included within the Contract Documents. 14. Contractor shall utilize Mission SCADA Communications hardware and, if necessary, add components to allow the monitoring of the following components. a. Submersible Pumps b. Flow Meter c. Pressure Transducer d. Generator Operation - Runtime e. Radar Level System f. Incoming Electrical Service
