Saving Project...

New construction of a mixed-use development in North York, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 46,000-square-foot, four-story above grade fitness / recreation center; and 9,700-square-foot day care center.

Construction of a two-storey community centre will be accessible and is planned to include: a 12,300 square foot gymnasium, 15,500 square foot multi-purpose space, community kitchen, community multi-use space, common area multi-purpose space, gender-neutral washrooms and change rooms, and storage and staff office space. The project will also include a 900 square meter daycare space with an abutting 300 square metres of outdoor play space. TIMELINE: The site plan has been submitted to the city of Toronto for approvals and is being reviewed by City Planning. The project schedule has changed with working drawings expected to proceed late summer, 2024. The contact for the consulting engineering team will be released at that time. Tender is expected late 2024/early 2025, timing has yet to be determined. Construction schedules will be finalized early 2025 based on approvals.
