The Work includes the following major items: The replacement of the existing 4-inch diameter force main with approximately 1,853 LF of 6-inch HDPE pipe from the Pigeon House Sewage Pumping Station to an existing upstream gravity manhole and the installation of a new Emergency Questions regarding this Project should be directed to the PROJECT MANAGER, Mr. Parimal Bachubhay, P.E., at 410-224-1263. The cost range for the Project is: $500,000 to $1,000,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond acceptable to the County for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, payable to Anne Arundel County, Maryland; and unless so accompanied, the bid will not be considered. The check or bid bond will be forfeited to the County as liquidated damages in case the contract, performance bond, and labor and materials bonds are not executed within ten (10) days after receiving the contract for execution. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Directional drilling shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, furnishing and installing the sanitary force main and installation of and connection to all sanitary force main appurtenances, including fittings and connections to the sanitary sewer system, as indicated on the Contract Drawings and in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor will furnish all labor, components, materials, tools, equipment, and appurtenances and perform all tasks necessary or proper for the performance and completion of the Contract.
