Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Construction of approximately 1,800 LF of multimodal roadway improvements along Elkhardt Road and approximately 800 LF of shared-use path improvements along Starlight Lane. The improvements shall consist of improving the roadway vertical curvature, providing bike and pedestrian accommodations, drainage and stormwater management facilities, and utility improvements. The work will include clearing, road demolition, grading, asphalt paving, curb & gutter, concrete sidewalk, drainage structures, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, reconstruction of utilities and other items necessary for the completion of the work. Contractors must be on VDOT's current Pre-qualified list at the time/ date set for the opening of bids in order to be eligible for this contract.
