Bids must be accompanied by a certified check , money order, bank draft or irrevocable letter of guarantee, in the amount of 5% of the bid payable to "OH de la Matapédia", or '' a tender bond in the amount of 10% of the tender, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date on which the tenders are opened . This tender guarantee must be exchanged at the signing of the contract for a performance guarantee and a guarantee of obligations for pledges, materials and services. When these guarantees are in the form of a surety bond, the amount of each of them corresponds to 50% of the contract price and when they are in the form of certified check, money order or draft, the amount of each of them corresponds to 10% of the contract price.
