Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Merced, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
In general, this project comprises the removal of existing roofing, repairs to water damage structure, and replacement of roof single ply membrane roofing at the Merced County Elections/Warehouse, 250 E. 15th St., Merced.Bids will be entered on a lump sum basis. Contractor shall possess either a valid Class B or Class C-39 Contractors License at the time this contract is to be awarded.In the event of discrepancy between the local prevailing wage rates and those determined by the United States Department of Labor, the Contractor will be required to pay the higher rate. Bid Security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Bid amount (Base Bid plus Alternate Bids) shall accompany the Bid, in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders.The Board of Supervisors of Merced County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept the Base Bid alone or together with any or all Alternates, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid or in the Bidding. The Undersigned understand/s that the time for completion of the work of the Contract is 120 consecutive Calendar Days
