Sealed Bids for the construction of the Town of East Longmeadow, Permanent Wastewater Flow Monitoring Project Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as Town of East Longmeadow, Permanent Wastewater Flow Monitoring Project. The work consists of installing a 12-inch Parshall Flume and precast concrete vault, electrical conduit, approximately 130 linear feet of new gravity sewers, 2 precast concrete manholes, and 4 precast concrete doghouse manholes. The work will also include the associated sanitary sewer service reconnections, pavement repair, surface restoration, control and power conduits and wiring, temporary bypass pumping, and appurtenant work. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. All Bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Bidders must log to download bidding documents for the project. Bidders will be added to the planholders or prospective bidders list upon downloading the bidding documents for the project. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract. Fderal Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the United States Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act also apply to this project.
