As of September 29, 2022, a consultant has been awarded to provide a feasibility study/conceptual design only. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: For RFQ Design - Western Cary Facility The Town of Cary, North Carolina (Cary) is seeking one or more qualified contractor(s) with which to contract for the following services: Cary invites qualified architect and engineering firms (contractor) who have sufficient site evaluation and facility design experience in accordance with the specifications outlined in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to submit a proposal. The specific details shown herein shall be considered minimum unless otherwise shown. Cary looks to hire a contractor to complete site evaluations of two sites to determine site capacity for buildings and services, establish site concept plans, and help guide the design for future facility needs. Cary facilities to be accounted for in the evaluations include public works buildings and storage, a community center, a fire station, IT support service facilities, and back-up facility for 911 services.
