Bid Bond Requirement: 5% Bid Bond Required The Project goal is to re-crown the field to facilitate positive drainage and alleviate areas that capture and hold runoff The dimensions of Memorial Soccer Field Number 9 are approximately 230' (two hundred thirty feet) by 340'
(three hundred forty feet). 1) The removal of the existing turf and topsoil to the grade which has been determined by the City. A
formal survey will be provided by the City to determine the desired grade. This information will be
communicated via Addendum to this Invitation for Bid.
2) Hauling and disposing of the removed turf, any unused topsoil, and any other debris caused by the
work off-site. All disposal shall be performed in a legal manner, according to all applicable laws, codes
and regulations.
3) The field shall have a minimum slope of 1% (one percent) and a maximum of 2% (two percent). The
end-to-end slope shall be flat (0.00%). The awarded Bidder shall slope the field to drain as appropriate
for the field location (see #1 above).
4) Graded areas shall be uniform and smooth, free from rock, debris or irregular surface changes.
Finished subgrade surface shall not be more than 0.10-Feet above or below the established finished
subgrade elevation.
5) Locating and protecting all irrigation and utilities located on the work site(s). The awarded Bidder shall
adjust the irrigation depth and/or height as necessary to prevent damage to irrigation lines and heads,
as well as ensure proper restoration to match the new/reconstructed elevation, operation and
coverage of irrigation after the infield grading is complete.
6) The awarded Bidder shall add screened topsoil material, if required, as laser grade to the determined
elevations and 1% (one percent) drainage. If any additional topsoil material is needed, the material
must be approved by the City prior to use
