As of March 16, 2022, a design engineer has been awarded. No firm timeline has been established for the construction. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The Iowa Department of Agriculture through the Division of Soil Conservation and Water Quality (Division) is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for engineering services for four pumped Nutrient Reduction Wetland projects: one located in Calhoun County, and three located in Pocahontas County. The Nutrient Reduction Wetland Projects included with this RFP require a pumped design. In order for proposals to be reviewed by the Division, Consultants must also submit a Statement of Qualifications regarding sufficiency to meet the engineering and design services requirements. Firms or individuals who are not determined to be qualified will be notified of the requirements they failed to meet sufficiently. Consultants are invited to submit proposals for any or all of the projects included with this RFP. Proposals for each project will be reviewed independently and consultants will be selected on an individual project basis. The Division may award more than one project to a single Consultant. Proposals will only be evaluated for firms or individuals who are determined to be qualified to perform the requested engineering and design services based upon evaluation of their submitted Statement of Qualifications.
