Only contractors who have been issued a prequalification certificate by the sc department of transportation will be allowed to submit bids. Unless otherwise indicated in the advertisement, no proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Approximate bid amount, written by a surety satisfactory to the Department, properly executed in South Carolina Department of Transportation Form 674 (furnished by the Department in each proposal). If an Electronic Bond is Utilized, the Bond ID number must be provided on the Surety 2000 or Tinubu (SurePath) Network electronic bond form. No Other Form of Proposal Guaranty Will Be Accepted.
