D264488, PIN 081029, FA Proj Z23E-0810-293, Nassau, Suffolk Cos., REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT,Traffic Signal & Lighting Maintenance Contract at Various Locations, in NASSAU, SUFFOLK Counties., Incentive/Disincentive Provisions, Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $200,000.00) , Goals: DBE: 10.00% This project proposes to rebuild, upgrade and install traffic signals and repair or replace lighting systems and appurtenances along state highways in Nassau and Suffolk County. Locations will be selected based on the need to address safety concerns and to improve the reliability and operation of traffic signals and lighting systems. This project will improve pedestrian mobility by bringing various locations in the Counties of Cattaraugus & Chautauqua, into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for accessibility. The work will include curb ramp installations/upgrades, pedestrian signal upgrades, and sidewalk reconstruction as needed. Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashiers check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on form CONR 391. Electronic bids must include an electronic bid bond. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all Amendments are incorporated into its bid. Amendments may have been issued prior to your placement on the Planholders list. The Department's Civil Rights reporting software is EBO (the Equitable Business Opportunity Solution).
