As of January 12, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference WATERFORD Township is requesting Statements of Interest from consulting firms for engineering services associated with the Himrod Road Bridge replacement. The scope of work includes preliminary engineering, final design, utility coordination, right-of-way acquisition, bidding and construction contract administration, and construction inspection. The project location is on Himrod Road over LeBoeuf Creek, approximately 1/4 mile east of Pa. Route 97. Statements of Interest will be evaluated on the basis of professionalism, success with working with municipal governments, and qualifications and experience in the design of local roads and bridges. The Statement of Interest must also contain the firms capacity, or availability of technical staff, to accomplish the work as necessary for completion of the project during the 2022 construction season. Waterford Township will procure a consultant by review of consultant qualifications using the modified selection procedure; a price proposal will not be requested until after a consultant has been selected. Waterford Township encourages responses from small firms, minority firms and firms who have not previously performed work for the Township. There has been no DB/DBE goal set for this procurement, but applicants and their proposed subconsultants shall be subject to the Commonwealths Nondiscrimination / Sexual Harassment Clause.
