The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting bids for Sanding Material 2-Locations Missoula Area. Provide all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to produce 1,200 tons or 800 cubic yards of sanding material. Contractor is required use a minimum 60’ hopper fed stacker belt. Stockpile material to facilitate water runoff. produce 1,500 tons or 1,000 cubic yards of sanding material. Contractor is required use a minimum 60’ hopper fed stacker belt. WORK IS REQUIRED TO BE COMPLETED ON OR BEFORE: OCTOBER 27, 2023 Question Submission Deadline 07/14/2023 at 2:00 PM Questions or information relating to either specifications or requirements of this solicitation must be asked through the eMACS Q&A Board. Potential bidders must log into eMACS to submit a question on the Q&A Board. The Department has the right to refuse or disqualify an aggregate source proposed for the production of winter abrasives materials or chip surfacing materials.The Maintenance Chief reserves the right to make, in writing, at any time during the work, such changes in quantities and such alterations in the work as are necessary to satisfactorily complete the project. The Department has the right to conduct this testing at its own will.
