Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of August 25, 2022, the project has been awarded and construction is underway. For Traffic Signal Modification at Base Line Road and Spruce Avenue Engineer's Estimate range from $242,000 to $285,000. Traffic Signal Modification at Base Line Road and Spruce Avenue Scope of work to be performed consists of, but not limited to, installation of traffic signal poles, safety lighting, foundations, conduits, conductors, wires, pull boxes, re-wiring, video detection system, traffic signal modifications and related traffic signal equipment, curb, sidewalk, irrigation modifications, trenching, potholing, paving, pavement markers, striping and signage. Engineer's Estimate is $212,000 to $248,000. A total of 40 working days to complete the project. The outside of the Sealed Bid shall be clearly marked with the Project Name. It is the responsibility of the Bidder - Contractor to confirm receipt of the Bid Package in the City Clerk's Office prior to the date and time of the BID OPENING at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the City has determined that Contractor shall possess any and all contractors licenses, in form and class as required by any and all applicable laws with respect to any and all of the work to be performed under this contract including, "Class-A" (General Engineering Contractor) or "C-10" (Electrical Contractor) License in accordance with the provisions of the Contractor's License Law (California Business and Professions Code, Section 7000 et. seq.). Contractor shall also obtain at least one technician performing the work associated with traffic signal cabinet, emergency vehicle preemption, video detection systems, and related equipment certified as an International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal Field Technician Level II or Senior Field Technician Level III. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. In accordance with the provisions of California Labor Code, Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, Articles 1 and 2, the Contractor is required to pay not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the public work is performed, and not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime work. In that regard, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California is required to and has determined such general prevailing rates of per diem wages. As such, a copy of prevailing wage rates may be found Online . The Contracting Agency also shall cause a copy of such determinations to be posted at the job site. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form and amount specified in Public Contract Code Sections 20170 and 20171. See Bid Package for details. A Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials (Payment) Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, will be required of the Contractor. The City of Rancho Cucamonga, reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid. Any contract awarded will be let to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
