Dyform Bristar 8, 40mm (1-9/16") is a high performance compacted single layer constructed rope which incorporates an engineered extruded plastic profile between the 8 outer strands and the rope core for cranes and industrial applications including the 550 Liebherr Mobile Harbor Crane. Construction of rope is 8x36 with 288 supporting outer wires. Nominal breaking load 144 tons; High performance steel construction with independent wire rope core; Right/Left Lay construction; Approximate weight is 5.39 lbs/ft. The rope end shall be equipped with a ring, a Crosby pad eye S-264 and shackle HA 2-1/2". The other end shall be socketed with a NEMAG thimble S-Type (1440), with a Wirelock stamp. Left lay painted red, Right lay painted green. Allows zero unit prices and labor : No Allows negative unit prices and labor : No ANY deviations from the specifications outlined herein MUST BE NOTED at the time of the bid submittal, and the Port reserves the right to make a determination as to the quality of the deviation.
