This project involves the unclassified bulk excavation and sediment removal of a stormwater detention facility; spreading and placement of excavated material; erosion and sediment control BMPs; site restoration and landscaping; modification of existing outlet control structure; utility coordination; and resident notifications, complete in place. In accordance with Chapter 25 of the Township Code, all bidders must be pre-qualified by calling Debbi Yelich @ 412-831-9000 x2170. All Pre-qualification materials must be in the hands of George Kostelich, Director of Public Works, Township of Upper St. Clair, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, by 3:30 PM on Friday, June 11, 2021. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are required on this project. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made payable to the Township of Upper St. Clair in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Township reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids. Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement upon acceptance of the Proposal from the successful Bidder.
