Renovation of an educational facility in Fontana, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All requests for information/clarifications must be submitted, in writing, to Marycruz Perez, Senior Buyer, via email at perema@fusd.net and received no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 26, 2021. Please direct all correspondence with the subject line, "Bid No. 20/21-1585i Modular Renovation at Ruble". No other questions or requests for information will be accepted after this date and time. Each bidder's bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the DISTRICT; (3) a certified check made payable to the DISTRICT; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, made payable to the DISTRICT in the form set forth in the contract documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required Performance and Payment Bonds and insurance certificates. In the event of failure to enter into said contract or provide the necessary documents, said security will be forfeited. Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount, are required, and shall be provided to the DISTRICT prior to execution of the contract and shall be in the form set forth in the contract documents. All bonds (Bid, Performance, and Payment) must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for Work of the :Wayne 5uble Elementary School (2) Relocatables, at :Wayne 5uble Elementary School located at 6762 -JuniperAYenue, Fontana, California 92336 1. Relocatable building pads. 2. Remove designated existing asphalt transition pad. 3. Remove designed existing bollards. 4. Remove designed chain link fencing. 5. Trench per Electrical Drawings. Removal of Improvements: Remove existing above-grade and belowgrade improvements as indicated and as necessary to facilitate new construction. Saw cut existing paving at boundary of areas to be removed. 1. Plastic Signs: a. International accessibility symbol signs. b. Room capacity signs. c. Exit signs, unlighted. d. Room identification signs. 2. Metal Signs: a. International accessibility symbol signs. b. Accessible parking entrance signs. c. On-Premise Traffic Control Signage.
