The project involves landscape, irrigation, special paving, environmental graphics and site lighting, as well as all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for the project. Project Location: SH 146 North and I-10 Summary of the Work including work by the City, City-furnished Products, work sequence, future work, Contractor use of Premises, special conditions for substantial completion and City occupancy The Work includes all labor, materials, tools, equipment, mobilization, bonding, permits and fees, data, and all necessary administration and construction support services (including those described in the Division 1 and 2 Specifications), required to prepare the Site and successfully fabricate and install the specified signage and Site Development as described in accordance with the Contract Documents. 1. The Work shall consist of, but shall not be limited to, the following Work items: a) Coordinate with utility owners and governing agencies having jurisdiction over the proposed Work, b) Project Costs(bonding, insurance, general conditions, mobilization, and miscellaneous costs) c) Provide and maintain required traffic control devices as required. d) General Site Work incl., but not limited to demolition, waste material disposal, excavation, fine/rough grading, sand, topsoil complete and in place e) Apply for and procure all applicable permits from the applicable governing agencies. f) Provide and install automated irrigation system, including controllers, valves, fittings, borings, sleeves, wiring, spray assemblies, backflow, and miscellaneous complete and in place. g) Provide install contractorspecified trees, shrubs, and ground coversincluding, but not limited, to material, staking, mulching, compost, planting mix, excavation, fertilizers, soil amendments, and miscellaneous, complete and in place. h) Provide supplemental watering for plant material not covered by automated irrigation system i) Provide and install mulch and compost for existing and proposed planting beds including, but not limited to, mulch, compost, vegetation removal, rough/fine grading, fertilizers, and miscellaneous, complete and in place. j) Provide and install unit pavers on base specified herein complete and in place. k) Provide and install electrical power service, meters, panels, disconnects, racks, lighting, fixtures, conduit, conductors, pulls boxes, and miscellaneous to provide a fully functioning lighting system. l) Provide and install site landscape signage to include all labor, materials, excavation, waste material disposal, as may be need. m) Place concrete planter and pavers bands n) Remove and replace roadway curbs o) Install concrete sidewalks, ramps, units, and misc. p) Prepare construction areas to include rough and fine grading. q) Sodding incl., but not limited to plan materials, topsoil, planting mix, edging, soil/mix additives, staking, and misc., Complete and in place. r) Provide Maintenance and Warranties as per specifications for a period of one year from date of Substantial Completion(Warranties only apply to new plant material) s) Any other provision or requirement not listed here but required as part of the Contract Documents.
