Brief description of the work: This project involves modernizing all of the secondary electrical substations in wing 4, ensuring redundancy of new components and building new electrical distributions that will allow load segregation, all in accordance with practices at Hopital Fleurimont and to the various codes and regulations in force. This project also involves ensuring reliable power supply and availability for current and future projects. Completion time: 6 months The Project Manager, CIUSSS de l'Estrie - CHUS, having its head office at 375, rue Argyll, Sherbrooke (Quebec) J1J 3H5, is requesting bids for the construction work for the project in question. BIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BID GUARANTEE ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: In an amount equivalent to a percentage of the price of the tender and according to the form determined below: A bid bond issued by a financial institution and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of bids; Where A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price; Where An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, credit union or trust or savings company and conforming to the provisions of the Project Manager's "Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee" form in the amount of five percent ( 5%) of the bid price. Note that if the bid guarantee is provided in the form of a bond or an irrevocable letter of guarantee, the form must be the one sent by the public body or contain the same provisions and be signed by the authorized person. Only contractors with a business office in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO), the Agreement on the Liberalization of Public Procurement Quebec and New Brunswick (AQNB) or the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and holding the license required under the Building Act.
