Contractors who are pre-qualified with the NJDEP, Division of Resilience Engineering & Construction can obtain bid documents from the NJDEP's Toms River address at the address listed above. Bidders must be pre-qualified with this Office under N.J.S.A. 52:35 et seq. under the "Special Miscellaneous Work" category prior to submitting a bid and are required to comply with the Affirmative Action provision as outlined in N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. At time of bid, bidders or their designated subcontractor must be classified with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management & Construction (DPM&C) under "C-119 Site Remediation" for bid eligibility. Review and approval of new pre-qualification packages by the NJDEP's Office of Coastal Engineering (Office) typically takes 10-12 calendar days, depending upon applicant's responsiveness. Contractors and Subcontractors must be registered under the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act", N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. (P.L. 2003, c. 91) at time of bid. Appropriate proof of this registration should be provided to NJDEP prior to award of contract.
