Renovation of a water / sewer project in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Byrd Park Water Storage Tanks Roof Replacement Project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to demolition of concrete roof and replace with triangulated aluminum flat roof, install gates, roof vents, tank mixing, overflow, level transmitters, electrical building, CCTV, and PLC/SCADA system improvements. As of May 18, 2022, a general contractor has not officially been selected at this point in time. Bids are still under review and an official award is expected to be made soon. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed, the project is not anticipated to start until July of 2022.
