Renovation of a mixed-use development in Waupun, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
**As of Aug 13, 2021, the project was awarded to Hooper Corporation for $148747. Notice to proceed 7/13/2021. In general the work consists of: Replacement of 2-200 gallon HW tanks with steam bundles and related piping with 2 new horizontal semi-instantaneous steam fired water heaters and related water, low pressure steam and condensate piping. There is minor electrical work. This work is being done in a Secure Facility. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects 48 advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. Any Person who has not gone thru a background check will not be allowed entrance to the facility.
