Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Colton, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Project consists of constructing either a frame supported membrane, or wood-framed sand and salt storage building founded on cast-in-place concrete foundations.The Project includes installation of an electrical power service from the existing Highway Garage to the new building, and lights, outlets, and other electrical appurtenances. The Town Highway Department will be completing portions of the site work and excavation, as outlined in the Contract Documents. This project is funded in whole or part by a CWIA/EPF Water Quality Improvement Project Grant administered by the New York State Department of Conservation. The Town of Colton encourages participation of qualified MWBE prime contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on this project. MWBE goals applicable to all contracts as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders are 20%. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid submission time or any publicized postponement thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects in such bid either before or after opening. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
