Site work for a road / highway in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This Contract is for all labour, materials and equipment necessary for the replacement and rehabilitation of five retaining walls at various locations within the Region of Peel. The works shall include but not be limited to the following: - The replacement of two elevated sidewalks and the rehabilitation of the upper retaining walls along a grade separation under the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) bridge located along Dixie Road, South of Blundell Road. - The replacement of two gabion retaining walls with new gabion retaining walls located on the south embankments of the Derry Road, West of Goreway Drive crossing. - The replacement of a gabion retaining wall with a new armourstone retaining wall located on the southwest embankment of the Queensway East, West of Camilla Road crossing. - The partial removal of a modular retaining wall at the Queen Street East, East of Dixie Road site and regrading the existing slope to a stable grade. - The replacement of three gabion retaining walls at Dixie Road, North of Courtneypark Drive site with new vegetated reinforced slopes and the replacement of one gabion slope protection with a new vegetated rock buttress.
