All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond drawn to the order of Atlantic Cape Community College for not less than ten percent of the amount of the bid. A Consent of Surety from an approved Surety Company must also be submitted with the Bid. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, the bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Building and Construction, prior to the date that bids are received. Any bid submitted under the terms of New Jersey statutes not including a copy of a valid and active Pre-qualification/Classification Certificate will be rejected as being non -responsive to bid requirements. Bidder must comply with P.L. 1999, C-238, Public Works Contractor Registration Act. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certificate of insurance representing the availability of insurance that meets the requirements contained in the bidding documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding or to limit purchases to funds available, if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.1 et seq., pertaining to the County College Contracts Law. All bidders are placed on notice that they are required to comply with all requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 Affirmative Action and P.L. 2004, c. 57 New Jersey Business Registration Requirements. Bids must be submitted on standard proposal forms in the manner designated within the specifications. Last Day for RFI Issuance April 6, 2022 by 2:00 PM April 13, 2022 by 5:00 PM. Payment includes shipment by ground transport (USPS); other arrangements may be made by the purchaser and be at their cost. Checks for purchase of plans and specifications shall be certified or business only and made payable to The DaVinci Group.
