The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency and the Housing Authority of the City of Sacramento is soliciting sealed bids for Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 2126-RTds for 3740 9th Ave. and 7684 Sweetbrier Demolitions 2021, 3740 9th Ave. and 7684 Sweetbrier Way, Sacramento, CA. Possible subcontracting trades are Building Moving/ Demolition; Earthwork & Paving and Lead Removal. 3740 9th Ave: Demolish existing 2-story residential apartment building and all concrete flatwork. Remove lead-impacted soil as described in bid documents. 7684 Sweetbrier Way: Demolish existing single-family home in PRE program. House has had all drywall and hazmat removed already. Remove tree from front yard and trim trees in backyard. This is a Public Works project. Per California State Labor Code Section 1771.1 (a), a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Notwithstanding any other requirements (including federal labor requirements), this contract is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
