Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Said improvement will involve the removal of the existing 36" well casing pipe and 42" RCP extension pipe, 12" drive culvert, and installation of a new 12" SLCPP Drive Culvert, 42" RCP culvert including premium bedding & backfill, concrete footers & wing walls, asphalt pavement, Type 5 guardrail and general excavation involving ditch realignment & fine grading in preparation of seeding and incorporating stipulated traffic control in accordance with the specifications and accompanying construction drawings. The Engineer's estimate is $93,476.20. No contract shall be awarded at a price more than ten percent in excess of the Engineer's estimate. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements detailed in the Bid Documents shall be required. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contract compliance with the Equal Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The bid will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Medina Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
