Road shall receive 8" of caliche compacted to 6", depth checks for 6" of material, with option for 1" chip seal and additional miles not to exceed a total of 5 miles at Edinburg, TX 78541. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for the caliche road improvements. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12805B21R0010, may be issued on or around June 4, 2021. The requirement will be set-aside for 100% for Total Small Business, under NAICS Code 237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a size standard of $39.5M.
