Per the engineer on the project, any bidder that would like to be considered must get the bid documents from procurement@suburbanconsulting.com The project consists of improvements to Hill Street, between Highland Avenue and Pine Street. This includes the replacement of select roadway pavement, concrete curb, retaining wall, guide rails, slope stabilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, and site restoration. Complementary work to furnish and install accessory materials as may be necessary may be if and where directed items by the Owner. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. All work on this contract must be completed within one-hundred twenty days (120) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. The successful Bidder shall be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin and to the greatest extent possible, opportunities for training and employment shall be given to lower-income residents of the project area and that, when possible, Contracts shall be awarded to business concerns owned by area residents.
