Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Responses to Questions, occurred on June 16, 2021, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Building 6 demolition and utilities relocation: controlled demolition of one and one half (1 1/2 ) story brick building structure; proper disposal of all building contents inclusive of waterworks, mechanical and electrical equipment; abatement of asbestos, pcb and mercury containing materials inside building; removal and proper disposal of existing underground and above ground diesel tanks; proper disposal of abandoned standby generator; providing new electrical ductbanks, electrical switchgear, handholes and electrical manholes; remove and relocate existing 1500 kw electric generator; installing and relocating security wall sections; installing chain-link-fencing with barbed wire; new stormwater drainage; new fire fighting foam (afff). Bid documents will be made available beginning WEDNESDAY, MAY 26, 2021 It is the intent that the Contract Documents shall prescribe a complete Work or improvement. The Contractor shall remove all obstructions from within the lines of the improvement; and shall do such additional, extra, and incidental Work as may be considered necessary to complete the Work in a substantial and acceptable manner; and when it is so completed, s/he shall leave the Work in a neat and finished condition.
