Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and power facility.
This project at the Denny Substation located at Denny Way between Minor Ave N. (to the west) and a vacated alley (to the east). This project consists of the following elements of work: 1. Base Bid: demolition and replacement of the existing east ramp top slab. 2. Additive #1: installation of kick plates at the dog park gates. 3. Additive #2: installation of skate deterrent metal strips. 4. Additive #3: installation of curb angle and light fixtures. 5. Additive #4: repairs to the NE corner of the substation. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is approximately, Base Bid: $1,023,700; Additive #1: $800; Additive #2: $6,600, Additive #3. $37,400; and Additive #4: $1,320 (all before tax). Bidders must understand the requirements of SMC 14.16 and RCW 49.46 and demonstrate compliance prior to Award. For purposes of the Inclusion Plan, this is considered a Concrete Ramp type of project with a Past Performance of 19% WMBE utilization rates based on completed projects.
