Requests for clarification are due Wednesday, June 16, 2021 5:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. The work is generally described as lining of various sizes and types of sewers with the City's sewer collection system using cured in-place pipe. Approximately, 8,500 feet of 8" diameter, 1,400 feet of 10" diameter, 1,600 feet of 12" diameter, 300' of 15" diameter, 1,400' of 16" diameter, 1,400' of 18" diameter, 600' of 24" diameter, and 300 feet of 36" diameter pipe is to receive cured in-place pipe. The terms of the introduction and project description are incorporated herein. All bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening unless an award of the Contract is delayed by the required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant, in which case all bids will remain effective for one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the Contract price with suitable, reasonable requirements guaranteeing the performance of the Contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise if the best interest of the City will thereby be promoted. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects if, in its judgment, the interest of the City shall so require. The City further reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids received and reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever. Included in its right to reject bids, is the right for the City, in its sole discretion, to reject Bids which are deemed by the City to be incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contain additions, erasures, alterations, omissions or irregularities of any kind.
