The Township of Perry (the Owner) is planning to build a new dual-purpose building that will house a Community Centre and Library using the Design-Build procurement method. The Owner needs to establish a list of prequalified design-build contractors to be invited to submit bids through the competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the design and construction of the new Community Centre/Library Facility. The proposed site is the same property where the existing structures are located, and it is a requirement that the existing facilities remain open and in use until the construction of the new facility structure is complete. The project consists of all design work for a 10,000 sq ft Community Centre and Library Facility and for the construction of specified site work. Site work consists of removals of existing structures, tile field installation and parking areas. The parking lot, building services and exterior landscaping are all part of the project.
