For Kaahumanu Hale - Repair basement Leaks The work generally consists of removal and replacement of existing exterior tile- and coral aggregate-finished concrete wearing slabs from surface of post-tensioned structural concrete decks at the Ewa and Diamond Head entrance areas, installation of a new asphaltic-urethane split-slab waterproofing system, concrete spall repairs, installation of a new attached concrete enclosure for replacement of an air conditioning vent at the makai wall of the Diamond Head terrace, and miscellaneous related work. The estimated construction cost is between $1 million and $2.5 million. Due to the COVID-19 situation/incident, a pre-bid meeting in accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes 103D-303.5 has been waived and will not be held. The estimated value of the public works contract is $250,000 or more and the apprenticeship agreement preference pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes 103-55.6 (ACT 17, SLH 2009) shall apply.
