The Société is a financially independent, non-profit paramunicipal organization, agent of the City of Montreal. The Company requests bids which must be received by the date and time indicated below, at the Company's office located at 800, boulevard De Maisonneuve Est, suite 2200, Montreal (Quebec) H2L 4L8. CATEGORY: CONSTRUCTION WORK DESCRIPTION: The work mainly consists of repairing the west wall of the historic Bon Pasteur chapel, located at 60-100 rue Sherbrooke Est, in Montreal. More specifically, the work includes in particular the dismantling of two (2) floors of stone facing (including their removal and numbering), the dismantling of the stone mass behind the facing on the surface indicated on the plans, the leveling of the surfaces, the replacement of some stones, the reconstruction of the stone mass and the reconstruction of the stone facing with the existing stones and new stones to replace those that are too damaged. The goal of this work is to dismantle a part of the masonry wall that is not plumb and to rebuild it so that it is perfectly plumb. This is aheritage listed building . This project also includes related work, such as the replacement of certain existing woodwork and windows, demolition and gypsum coating work, as well as certain structural and mechanical work. The work is to take place in the spring or summer of 2022. CALL FOR TENDER NUMBER: 2021-081-CP-GI GUARANTEE AND INSURANCE: The tender must be accompanied by a tender guarantee of a value of 10% of the tender, valid for 90 days. A performance bond and a bond for wages, materials and services, each worth 50% of the value of the contract, as well as general liability insurance for a minimum amount of $ 5,000,000, and site insurance all risks will be required when the contract is awarded.
