The work to be performed under this contract is located at 7201 Earhart Drive Sacramento, Ca 95837 includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the replacement of the existing beacon tower, telecommunications Conex box, and associated telecommunications equipment in the airfield of the Sacramento International Airport (SMF). Contractor's California License and/or Class Required: Class A Due to the current shelter-in-place an in-person pre-bid conference and walk-through will not be held Each bid must be submitted on the proposal bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond/guaranty issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The County does not have a standard bid bond/guarantee form. The bid bond/guarantee form may be provided by the corporate surety. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond/guarantee will not be read and be rejected as non-responsive. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the County of Sacramento, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price Goals for minority participation for each trade:16.1% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to determine which bid, in the judgment of the Board, is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder.
