Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Renovation and Expansion of an existing building located at 1796 BI 35 East, Pearsall Texas. The existing (approx. 6774 SF) building will be renovated and expanded to 7343 SF. The project will also consist of demolition, septic system installation, water main installation, parking lot installation, concrete sidewalks and etc. Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. CST, Monday, June 28, 2021 to Roxana Garcia, P.E. Frio County Engineer, Road & Bridge Department, 2207 BI 35 E, Pearsall, TX 78061, roxana.garcia@friocounty.org. No less than the general prevailing wage rate for work of similar character in this locality shall be paid for all laborers, workmen and mechanics employed in the construction thereof shall be complied with, in accordance with the wage rates contained herein and the conditions as set forth in the General Conditions of the Specifications. Liquidated damages for this contract shall be $500 per each consecutive calendar day beyond the specified180 calendar days (6 months) completion time from the Notice to Proceed.8. Termination of Bid: No bid shall be withdrawn or terminated for a period of forty-five (45) days after the opening of bids without consent of Frio County. The Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of the first, second and third qualified low bidders will be held for this forty-five (45) day period or until a contract has been signed, whichever is earlier. The Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of bidder's other than the first three qualified low bidders will be returned after fifteen (15) days upon request, unless there is justifiable reason to hold them for the forty-five (45) day period. 9. All applicable blank spaces in the Bid Form / Schedule of values shall be filled in. The signature shall be in longhand. Any interlineations, alteration, or erasure must be initialed by the signer of the Bid. Bidder shall make no stipulations on the Bid Form nor qualify his bid in any manner. In case of ambiguity, or lack of clearness in stating prices in the bid, Frio Countyreserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction bid thereof. Each copy of the Bid shall include the legal name of Bidder and a statement whether Bidder is a sole proprietor, a partnership, or corporation, or any other legal entity, and each copy shall be signed by the person or persons legally authorized to bind the Bidder to a contract. A bid by a corporation shall further give the State of Incorporation and have a corporate seal affixed. A bid submitted by an agent shall have a current Power of Attorney attached certifying agent's authority to bid.
