The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor necessary to all work tasks associated witht he Racetrack Road Water Line Project, generally consisting of: - 200 lf of 8" DIP (Push-On Joint) water line (via open cut) - 50 lf of 6' DIP (Push-On Joint) water line (via open cut) - 400 lf of 8" HDPE water line (via horizontal directional drilling) - The installation, maintenance, and removal of erosion control facilities - Other associated appurtences for a complete and proper installation If substantial completion is not achieved within the specified time, the Bidder may become liable for liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day for each day the project remains uncompleted. Each bidder must inform him self fully ofthe conditions relating to the construction of the project and the employment of labor thereon. Failure to do so will not relieve a successful bidder ofthe obligation to fomish allmaterial and labor necessary to carry ou tthe provisions of the contract.
