AECOM/Hunt Clayco, a Joint Venture comprised of AECOM/Hunt, Clayco and Bowa (AHCB) has issued an Opportunity to Prequalify for the following: Terminal 5 Landside & Parking Improvements, Bid Package 2 Early Release AHCB has been selected as the CMR for the Terminal 5 Landside & Parking Improvements project at O'Hare International Airport. The Bid Package 2 includes the following: Trade Package 06 Structural Demolition includes select demolition of existing pedestrian bridge, canopy, handrails, and MEP systems contained within the structure. The demolition is limited to above grade structural demolition only. Trade Package 07 Site Demolition & Earthwork includes demolition of site improvements, utility, landscape and hardscape, and all excavation and grading required for a complete turnkey earthwork scope. Trade Package 08 Deep Foundations includes furnishing and installing all belled caissons per Contract Documents. All excavation, casings, liners, reinforcing steel and concrete work associated with deep foundations is included in this Trade Package. Trade Package 09 Elevators and Escalators includes furnishing and installing all electric traction elevators, and escalators on the project. Prequalification with AHCB is required to receive an Invitation to Bid, Bid Submission and to perform work on this project. Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
