Only contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable in a province covered by this agreement and holding, where applicable, an appropriate building contractor's license issued by the Regie du batiment are authorized to bid. of Quebec. The contract involves the repair of municipal infrastructure on rue Joliette in L'Assomption, briefly described as follows: o Removal, transportation and off-site disposal of existing paving and sidewalk o Replacement of existing water, storm and sanitary sewer systems o Replacement of existing water and sanitary sewer service entrances as well as the addition of storm service entrances up to the street right-of-way o Construction of sidewalk o Supply and installation of a class A sand sub-foundation o Supply and installation of a lower foundation in crushed stone MG-56 o Supply and installation of an upper foundation in crushed stone MG-20 o Supply and installation ofbituminous mix o Installation of signs and markings o Repair of the surroundings of the site and existing structures o As well as all related work necessary for the completion of this contract For any information, the tenderer must communicate, in writing only, with Andre Boisvert, head of the supply division of the City of L'Assomption, by email at the address appeldoffres@ville.lassomption.qc.ca, and this, at least seven (7) days prior to the opening of bids to allow a Project Authority to respond to all inquiries prior to the opening of bids. REQUIREMENTS Each tender must be accompanied by a tender bond issued in favor of the City of L'Assomption in the amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total tender, including taxes. Only a bid bond established by an insurer holding an insurer license issued by the Autorite des marches financiers and authorizing it to carry out guarantee activity within the meaning of the Insurance Act and in accordance with standardized form NQ 1809- 900/A will be accepted at the end of the tender documents. This bond must be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date of opening of tenders.
