Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Waxahachie, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 12,000-square-foot fire / police facility.

*Please contact the construction manager for access to the bid results. The new Fire Station will be approximately 12,000 square feet. At least a portion of the building will include utilizing a Pre-Engineered Metal Building System (PEMB) with pitched metal roof. The Station shall include 4 bay apparatus areas with associated auxiliary spaces, day room and kitchen area, sleeping quarters for ten, training room, fitness room, two small offices, shower and toilet rooms, public entry and toilets, ancillary storage, and related support spaces. Refer to the site plan, floor plan and elevation attachments to this document. The City of Waxahachie expressly reserves the right to select or not select any firm which submits information pursuant to this request for proposal information. Any information submitted is at the sole expense of the firm providing the information. The City has delegated the authority to Ricky Boyd, the Fire Chief, to rank the proposals and to deliver the ranking to the City Council via the City Manager. Once approved by the Council, the City Manager shall be authorized to negotiate and sign a contract with the CMAR.
